Argent

As a first year college student at Eastport University, Carol Bertrand has to juggle keeping her grades up, managing her social life, and hiding the fact that she's an Argent: an offshoot of human evolution trying to integrate into society.

If that wasn't enough, other students begin circulating rumors of Argents hiding in the little coastal town, and Carol quickly finds herself trapped between her need to maintain a peaceful, human life and her desire to connect with others like her. She meets a girl named Lily, a fellow student with a few quirks of her own, and the two begin to uncover truths about the world, as well as truths about each other.

Argent is a lesbian romance set in the modern day, starring a paranormal protagonist who stands just outside the boundary of humanity. There's comedy, there's drama, and there's two girls who like each other a lot—everything you need for a good story.

Originally written and published by Siwon Kim in 2022 on a certain other website known for fast deliveries and e-books, Argent has received slight tweaks and typo fixes and been re-uploaded to a website less likely to trawl its data for nefarious means.
